Lets all have faith, in not being douchebags

Someone without sight can never truly know the vibrant green colour of grass. They can imagine to the best of their abilities and they can believe it exists, even without vision.

Someone without hearing may never know a song the way those with do, but they will feel it vibrate through their body and they will appreciate it in ways we might not, because we feel and see it all in a cluster.

Many people will never know the face of God or experience an apparition but they will feel God in many ways over their lives and they will experience things that maybe no one else around them will. Because our eyes can’t see the things other people do, does that give us the right to be as arrogant as possible and deny them? No it does not.

People deny the existence of what they have not seen, felt or heard. Yet those who lack all the senses of the person sitting beside them, can appreciate life and truths so much more.

Not knowing or understanding causes fear, it reduces our ability to think straight and to react with thoughtfulness and clarity.

I have never seen a monkey transform into a human over the course of millions of years, yet even though it goes against my beliefs I don’t mock the person who does.

Whether you believe in God or not, are you truly happy believing that when you and your loved ones die, that that is the end of everything you were and are. That all that remains is a rotting slab of flesh, void of the wonderful emotions and senses that make us human.

If you are, then that is up to you. I won’t mock you. But if all you can do is cling to the words of other humans that speak no more fact to my ears, than the word of God does to yours, then don’t think for a moment you are superior, that you have a right to belittle me, because I believe in something simple and beautiful as Heaven. That I believe that the Son of God came down and suffered so that all the mistakes we made didn’t damned us. Even then I admit without shame or sadness that I don’t know all the answers or reasons, but some we’re simply not suppose to know yet. There’s nothing funny, made up or sinister about that. It’s simple, it’s affirming and it helps more people get through their day to day lives that you’ll ever truly contemplate.
Fact is a word people use to no more solidify their own beliefs but to somehow beat down those of others. You may use the word ‘fact’ but that doesn’t make it universal and gospel in truth. An apple is called such because a human being, no better, no worse than us might have labelled it such. Perhaps it had a different name before, peraps it was more than just a fruit. I won’t go into Assassins Creed territory here but people say science is fact and faith is not. So? You’ve copied the words and believed the mathematical splatterings of another human being, is that anymore founded than what you dismiss? It isn’t.
Faith and religion are different things, a simple difference people who boast higher understanding and intelligence seem to forget. Faith never made the world a worse place, the millions of decisions we make ourselves relating to anything and everything does that. We are responsible for our own actions. Someone may commit a horrid act in the name of a religion, organisations or ideal, but who ever had written confirmation from God ect that they actually asked for that. I can say I killed 20 otters in the name of your neighbours grandmother, doesn’t mean she’s any the wiser. People hear, see and act how they want, excuses are in abundance in this life. A person can pick up a weapon and use it to harm another being, because of many factors, mental problems, upbringing or simply because they have a badness in them, many can’t quite comprehend.

None of us know why Betty White is so badass awesome but we all accept it.

God didn’t put us on this earth to destroy one another, he doesn’t say one thing and mean another, thereby eradicating the clear message that he loves us and abhors evil. People don’t reach the end of their ability to cope with tragedies in their life, then declare that it was partly or majorly due to their faith that they never ended their life, on a whim.

If you tell me I’m wrong, I’m stupid, that there are no facts, it will change nothing. I will life out the rest of my days as I have up until the point you decided to repeat a redundant string of words. Maybe that’s what annoys people, that others don’t just agree with them. No one likes being told no and no one likes to be wrong, but furthermore no one likes to be wrong in the eyes of a group. We were created as human beings, part of one family, but with seperate free will. I will be who I am and I will believe in God and I will befriend and care about anyone regardless of if they do or not, because I’m not scared, I have happiness in my faith and my ability to stand up for what I believe in and care about people. You will have missed out on being part of someone worthwhile’s life and them being part of yours.

Someone that can stand up unashamedly for what is intergral to them without defacing what means a lot to another human being (be it faith, science, any concepts ect), has already overcome one of lifes many obstacles and essentially bettered themselves spiritually and mentally. Our worst enemies can sometimes come from within, our mind plays tricks on us or our inhibitions confine us to never experience more than a limited amount of things, a limit we gave ourselves, a limit we can break if we try hard enough. So when we live in a world were freak accidents can take our lives or maim them, when we are surrounded by as many awful people as good, why would you make a concious decision to add more grief to the your own life and to the worldy scope. There’s joy and benefits to be had from actually being open minded, there’s simple lifelong pleasures from fighting for something good, than giving in and succumbing to something bitter.

We are all capable of mistaks, we are all fallible and many steps away from perfection. But simple effort seems to be a lost art. Six billion people plus, on this planet called Earth.

Can totally see my house from here gais.

That’s all of us, sharing the same air, the same plateau, food, water, handshakes and feelings. It may be easy to dismiss simplicities in life, but it’s harder to consistently do so and have a true sense of pride or fulfilment.
Everyone is different and that’s a good thing. But we should all want the same basics and show them to the next person. Compassion, understanding and vigilent persistence to never give up for as long as we can stick it out. Indulge in what is foreign to you, don’t judge those until you actually know them. Even then it is hard to truly know many people, for we’re not just a bunch of chemical and fleshy ingredients thrown into a bowl. We’re an intricate, unique and important species. We’re the ruling, chosen one.

For all our shortcomings, if a solitary moment amongst the chaos that seems to want to wear you down and throw you out of existence, comes and a prayer to God calms and helps someone, who are you or anyone else to dismiss, demean and dimish them. Maybe you’re jealous that you have no simple solace to take part in, maybe you’re simply not intelligent enough to understand something that has existed since the beginning of mankind, but don’t let confusion and pettiness overcome common decency and respect.

This isn’t a trope to convert, I’ve never even cared to follow such a path, but for as long as I have lived, something innocent and important to me has been laughed at and I’ve no interest in the company of people so scared, so unintelligent and so pathetic, nor have I any interest in not speaking up because it might rattle some or give miscommon perceptions. This is about respecting everyone whether they believe in something or not and showing those who speak too soon, without any real conviction other than to become living trolls, that they’re wasting their time. Whether you believe we’ve been on this earth for millions of years or a few thousand, all that time either way there have been people that let their own issues overcome them and try and belittle others and it hasn’t worked. No reason why it will now, some things are neverchanging.

I try to live my day to day life under the mantra of having a laugh, being there for people, enjoying many beverages and never shunning from what I am, what I believe in. Anytime I have hidden true aspects of myself I’ve always felt bad. I don’t do that anymore. I don’t push anyone and appreciate the same simple courtesy shown in kind. If anyone ever has an issue with those simple, sometimes subtle traits of who I am aas a person, then they’re not worth my time and they’ve missed out. Those that ask for little in life are usually  in a position where they have to fight the hardest.

So maybe if you don’t believe in God but find that mocking people is proving your own belief, then perhaps part of you believes in reincarnation, because you’ll only show yourself as being nothing more than a sheep in this life and the any more that come after.
